Jazz
One of the wonderful things about being a photographer is that it allows you to do and see things you may never had to in normal life. Photography has afforded me the opportunity to indulge my passion for live jazz music, jazz as in improvised music.
I don’t get to do much live music photography these days but these images bring back great memories of the many wonderful sessions I’ve had the good fortune to hear and experience over the years. South African jazz music is vibrant, poignant, elegant and eloquent and I only hope that these images do it some justice.
